Call for Entries:  The Shaft and Junior Shaft

Hancock- The Copper Country Community Arts Center announces “The Shaft” and “Junior Shaft,” community exhibitions.  Artists are invited to submit work inspired by mining history in the Copper Country; the physical signs of its presence or the effect it has had on the area and its people. This is a non-juried community exhibit.  Artwork may be submitted in any medium. The entry fee to participate is $5 per piece; limit three pieces. The entry fee for the Jr. Shaft is $1 per piece; limit three pieces.  Entry fees go to awards for community choice recipients.  Deadline for entries is Saturday, November 2.
