Negative Painting Watercolor Workshop with Madhura Mehendale
Hancock-Negative painting is the process of painting the background space around a penciled in shape in order to create it. As the painting develops, more shapes are added. Each layer will add a darker value thereby creating depth in the painting. This watercolor workshop is a paint-along method, where steps are first demonstrated, allowing students to complete the painting incrementally.
This workshop takes place on Saturday, July 20 from 1-4:30pm at the Copper Country Community Arts Center at 126 Quincy Street in Hancock. The fee $45 for CCCAC members; $55 non-members. Deadline to register: July 13. Call 906-482-2333 for more information or to register.
