Event Description:
GLC will host a night sky viewing party at the Open Skies project (the old Calumet Air Force Base). The viewing will be led by Dr. Robert Nemiroff of Michigan Technological University who will provide telescopes for viewers to use. This event will occur doing the Perseid Meteor shower, which is expected to have peak viewing availability on August 11, 12, and 13.
