Amanda and Daena have recently repatriated the Keweenaw after 6 years in Austin, Texas. Bringing their infant daughter back to Michigan, they formulated their business on the shores of Lake Superior. Amanda formerly worked for a neuroscience lab studying advertising, television, and all things social media. She currently manages social media clients and serves as Creative Director for 2nd Sandbar. Daena is a professional filmmaker and editor, who has worked on feature films, documentaries, TV and internet shows, and commercials. Daena is 2nd Sandbar’s Visual Executor - a cheeky way of saying from filming to post, he makes the magic happen.
