The Hospice Promise Fundraiser - UP Health System Home Care & Hospice: On Tuesday, September 17, from 11 am - 9 pm, Come Dine with us and The Hospice Promise Foundation will receive 20% of the sales. The Hospice Promise Foundation assists patients and families with essential, non-hospice related expenses they are unable to afford themselves - such as rent and utility bills, emergency repairs, personal care items and food assistance. The foundation also provides funding for patients' last wishes, burial assistance and community projects like bereavement camps for children and educational outreach programs for end-of-life care.
