Great Bear Chase Ski Marathon

The 40th Anniversary UP Health System Great Bear Chase Ski Marathon has something for everyone and enough snow to go around, even in March!
Skiers can choose three distances, with separate races and starts for classic and freestyle: 50k, 25k, and 10k.  It also includes the 50 km skiathlon (25 km classic and 25 km).  The Great Bear Chase has earned a reputation as a skier-oriented weekend that allows skiers of all experience levels to finish their season with a high quality event.
All events are chip timed, and compete on beautiful power tilled trails.
Also included is Great Bear Chase shirt, famous (and fabulous) pasty and soup lunch, custom awards.
It's a birkie qualifier and member of CXC marathon cup series.
