Sunday at 10:30 am BHK Child Development Center (enter from Waterworks Drive) 700 Park Ave. Houghton, MI 49931 “A Proposed Constitutional Convention: What's Wrong With That? ”Liz Hakola, from the League of Women Voters, will talk to us about the Constitutional Convention movement. What are the origins of calls for a US Constitutional Convention, objectives of its supporters and its opponents, and the current status of the ratification? The Constitutional Convention of States is a little-known movement of major importance and impact to all Americans. Raising awareness of this movement as a potential threat to our democracy is needed to counteract the call for a Constitutional Convention
